I'll leave it to you to look up "Manko" if you don't know the word, but granted, that would've been kinda funny too!
In case anyone is wondering, I'm a 30-something foreign guy slaving away as a mid-management salaryman in the corporate world of Japan. This blog will relate wonderous tales of my adventures in work and general life in Tokyo as I try to balance work and family.

HAHAHA i actually thought the wanko story was going to be manko as well but it was much more innocuous with the unko spin instead ;)
Haha
Reminds me of a story my friend told when he first arrived in Japan and tried to katakana words that he didn't know.
He wanted to know where the bank was so asked an old woman "Banko wa doko desu ka". She had obviously heard "manko" and began to hit him with her umbrella. Excellent
Nice, one can but wonder if the woman thought he meant hers specifically or more in general.
But yeah, let's stick with the "Unko" version instead, it's a lot less harmless!
I did a search and the first link was a company called Manko Window Systems.
Urban dictionary put me in the right direction though. Horrible.
