In case anyone is wondering, I'm a 30-something foreign guy slaving away as a mid-management salaryman in the corporate world of Japan. This blog will relate wonderous tales of my adventures in work and general life in Tokyo as I try to balance work and family.

I've been probed...
Yesterday I checked if I had gotten any new comments on my blog, nothing special at all and something I do on a daily basis to see if there are any new comments. Usually there is nothing or maybe one or two comments posted, but yesterday to my surprise I noticed almost 10 new comments having been posted on various posts, not by the normal rouges gallery either, people that have never commented before. Surprised, I checked my statistical tool and realized that I had almost ten times the number of unique visitors than a normal uneventful day and that the sudden influx was the result of the people at japanprobe.com had linked to my latest post below about the nice kid's pants.
Since I do have a blog publicly available on the Internet, I think it goes without saying that it's fun when people find the blog and find the contents amusing or interesting, but I’ve also become used to the visitor number that I have at the moment and I do not aggressively do any efforts to spread the blog at the moment. So the massive influx (by my standards, mind you) took me by surprise and made me feel a little violated in an oddly pleasing way. I felt... probed...
If any of the Japanprobe people are reading this, hey guys, thanks for the link and as long as it’s you, you can probe me.
Heehe I know how you feel ... I had a huge influx of visitors via Stumble Upon a few months ago, thanks to a post where I attempted to explain/elaborate on European stereotypes, and it was so strange to see the visitor stats shoot up so high so fast! Of course it tapered off after a day or two, and within a week things were back to normal.
Now to figure out how to replicate that success, or to trigger such a wildfire again! :D
Actually, I think it was the funny pants post. That was hilarious! Maybe they make big size for kaachan. I can just picture it now, mom and little daughter, strolling hand in hand down the street with matching f*** pants on. Lovely.
Well, the general content is in the blog, but if you are suffering from a short attention span, In case anyone is wondering, I'm a 30-something foreign guy slaving away as a mid-management salaryman in the corporate world of Japan. This blog will relate wonderous tales of my adventures in work and general life in Tokyo as I try to balance work and family.
Since some of the craziness from work has started to creep into my private life some interesting tidbits from that area will also occasionally be brought up.

Ask, and you shall be probed.

Happy to probe you any day salaryman-san!
With all this probing I bet you don't know if you're coming or going!
Yea I think you're gonna need more salve than that sm.
I saw some crazy Japanese pants advertised on the train (I'm British so by pants I mean underwear here).
They are like nappys for salarymen to absorb their pee stains, but they look like normal pants.
Theres a photo of them here:

Wearing the Nappy pants and FXCK pants at the same time is now my lifes goal.
In any case, I should probably buy that coffee enema set in the picture so I'm ready for another probing!
